One Blog Post Everyday

For most of my life, I've been trying to force myself to do the things I been conditioned to believe that I had to do in order to earn money and be "successful".

Earn a college degree.

Get good grades.

Get a well paying job.

Start a company.

Wake up early.

Work on "reasonable" side projects.

Only blog about "safe" topics

I just finished reading "Linchpin" by Seth Godin and it totally clicked. This book really resonated with me.

In Linchpin, Seth argues that people should relentlessly focus on creating "art" instead of going along with the status quo.

I've always had a nagging feeling there is more to life than following the herd.

I want to follow this hunch and hopefully discover my art and my tribe.

Thanks to Seth's encouragment in the book, I'm starting a challenge today: Write a blog post every day for a year.

I'm doing this because I want to organize my ideas around personal development, life, business, hobbies, service to others, fullfillment, and success. I want to conquer my fear of vulnerability and perfection. I want to find my tribe. I want to create art.

Thank you so much, Seth, for the courage for writing the book and spreading your message.

Today, I begin the challenge of building my tower and I'm looking forward to the day I will make my jump!
